We’ve all heard of the age-old maxim “strength in numbers”, but most people don’t realise when it comes to exercising, there’s a whole lot of truth to the saying.
In general, working out with a group or with friends helps to keep you accountable, stay motivated, and work harder. While social support is known to aid with mental health, studies have shown that it also drives forward physical activity— we’re more likely to complete a difficult workout or even go to the gym in the first place if we have a friend doing it with us. Better yet, if you choose to work out with someone who is stronger or fitter than you are, the more likely you will reach your true potential.
This is why we’ve launched Auro’s latest feature – Auro Leagues.
What is Auro Leagues?
It is a league table where you will be able to compete against and track your weekly and overall progress compared with other members of the Auro community. This allows you to interact with fellow Auro members and also help keep you motivated based on where you stand compared to other users.
How to join a League?
As an Auro user, you are automatically enrolled into both Weekly and All-time League.
Want your own private League?
If you’d like it a little more private, you also have the option to create your own League. You can name your own league, add and invite whoever you want to join in, and also pick from any of the trainers or exercises whose workouts you would like to compete.
At Auro, we believe in strength in numbers. Invite your friends, get motivated, and begin your Auro journey today.
